Good ol' Rocky Top. You were tough. But you were worth it.
We hiked that thing and boy, it was no joke. But after a relentless uphill climb, the most stunning of views greeted us. The leaves were at their peak color—vivid reds and yellows spotted the horizon, and the whole scene resembled a kind of larger-than-life pointillism painting.
We camped with our friends Jeff and Margaret, who showed us the ropes and essentially kept us alive all weekend. (What would we have done without you?!) So grateful for weekends like these. For friendship, fall leaves, and the magic of mountain air.
